The Project :
In order to study certain social behaviors during some virtual reality experiments, it was necessary to build up a bank of virtual avatars to simulate human presence as realistically as possible.
Here are the results of some research and tests I was able to carry out.
Game Ready Agents
Easy to integrate into any project, these agents are totally optimized even for Virtual Reality.
5 basic emotions
Each agent has a set of the 5 basic emotions. (Neutral, Happy, Sad, Angry and Surprised)
Facial Micro-movements
If you look closely enough, you can also see micro-movements on the faces (eyebrows, lips, nostrils…), as well as ocular sacades on the eyes.
Head and Eyes tracking
Each avatar is also programmed with a detection system that enables it to turn its head and eyes in the direction of the desired target when it passes within its field of vision.
